A Cool Person

 Are you a cool person?

You might be imperturbable, relaxed, tranquil, and dispassionate.
Don't allow yourself to become frigid or biting.
You could be viewed as indifferent, withdrawn, or even unapproachable.
Why not work at becoming marvelous, sensational or even hunky dory?
You might even become level headed and self-possessed.

The Walk

Walk down the path, go ahead feet, walk!  Wait....I got here in the wrong end of a car....maybe I can leave behind the steering wheel?  Run back to the car...hurry! None Other Name

The Three Minute Grandparent: None Other Name Teaching others was nothing new; sharing new ideas with interested people was also a part of life.  Getting called on the carpet for sharing personal beliefs, now that was new and uncalled for to him.  He had just helped someone and everyone around was happy and pleased with his work.  He had just been asked why he was doing all of these good deeds and about his motivation, when the law showed up.  Arrested and taken to a meeting of leaders, he found himself in the middle of a circle, a circle of accusation. Questions were hurled at him as the leaders grew more and more angry. Peter responded with “ Salvation comes no other way; no other name has been or will be given to us by which we can be saved, only this one.” (Acts 4:12, The Message) The leaders were angry with Peter and John and their teaching that Jesus was The Messiah and The Only way to God and Salvation.  This is still unpopular in an age where eve...

Beginnings

I don't remember my childhood, it's a blank screen.  Oh, I've tried to draw out thoughts.....anything at all.....just a fragment of perhaps a birthday party, or a favorite school teacher.  There's nothing there.  I just can't remember. Who am I?  I am...Caleb.  I found that name on a driver's license with my picture....so, I'm Caleb.  I woke up yesterday, last week, last year...I don't remember, in a motel near the Detroit Airport and found myself staring at the ceiling.  It had wavy lines painted green.  I've never liked the color green, but how would I know that?  I continued to stare then turned to the right and found a picture on the wall.  The glass in the frame was cracked...and the picture deserved no better.  It was a concrete block house next to a pond with someone holding a child while holding a cane fishing pole.  The picture was revolting and I turned my head.
